Practice Focus

Mark A. Pennow’s law practice focuses on litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of general civil litigation, products liability, personal injury, and professional malpractice. He also has a substantial practice in mediation and arbitration. Mark joined the firm in 1980; he has been a shareholder for many years and currently serves as the firm’s Treasurer.

Professional Associations

Mark currently serves as the Secretary of the State Bar of Wisconsin, having previously served as Treasurer and Governor, as well as on the Bar’s Finance, Executive and Strategic Planning Committees among many others. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company (WILMIC) and serves on its Audit Committee. He is a member of the District 14 Committee of the Office of Lawyer Regulation, the agency that disciplines attorneys. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Association of Mediators and a number of other professional organizations. Mark has spoken at many continuing legal education programs. He has taught at the UW Law School beginning in 1990 and annually since 1995.
